• Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, motrin or advil for 3 days prior to your treatment.

• Do not use topical agents that may increase sensitivity of skin such as retinoids, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, acids for 7 days prior.

Your skin will be cleaned so it’s free of lotion, oil ,makeup, or sunscreen. Topical anesthesia will be applied to assure maximum comfort during treatment. Treatment takes about 30min to complete.

Following the treatment, your skin may appear slightly pink to red, similar to a mild sunburn. Results may appear after just one treatment, but will continue to improve three to six months following your last treatment. Make-up and skin care routines can be resumed in 24hrs, no steaming and exercise for 24hrs.

Whereas most facial treatments subside within days (if not hours), this treatment provides results that last for weeks and months. The long term results are ongoing as the tiny needle injections will stimulate your own natural collagen. Most patients receive a series of three treatments spaced about four weeks apart. Treatment can be done once a month.

If you currently have an acne or cold sore outbreak, it is recommended to wait to perform this treatment to prevent spread of bacteria. Anyone with active wounds or irritated skin wait until the skin is healed.

Multiple treatments can be necessary to achieve optimal results. This will be discussed with your medical expert during your treatment to determine your goals.

When we say ‘micro’ needles, we mean it: the needles are thinner than a strand of hair! We also apply a numbing cream to ensure your comfort during treatment.

Some light redness or pinpoint bleeding may be present after treatment and for up to 24hrs after. You may feel as If you have a sunburn, this is normal. Makeup and skincare routines can be resumed after 24 hrs.

• Microneedling with PRP is a treatment that stimulates collagen production by applying platelets, which are one of the components of blood. The addition of PRP from the blood can make microneedling more effective. The liquid in blood is plasma, while platelets are solid. Platelets help blood clot, so they are vital for healing wounds and injuries.

• Your medical expert will take a blood sample and then use a spinning tool called a centrifuge to separate the PRP from the rest of the blood. Infuse your blood's own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and growth factors back into the skin to rejuvenate and reinvigorate cellular turnover; stimulate further collagen production for a quicker healing response.
